Classes: $225 per session, $450 for both Session I and II (each session is 12 days, each period is 85 minutes)
Leadership Camp: $350 (9 days, each day is 3 hours)
Fine Arts Camp: $350 (9 days, each day is 3 hours)
Refund Policy
Full refund for cancellations up to one week before class starts, minus a $20 cancellation fee.
After one week before class starts, no refunds for cancellations initiated by the parent.
Exceptions may be considered at our discretion.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS
PERIOD 1 ROOM 14
Foundational Reading and Writing (English I)
Recommended for students currently in 6th or 7th grade (not high-school English I)
Critical reading and writing skills, to enhance language building.
Reflect and analyze different texts, then learn and practice how to write different types of academic papers.
Session I: Focuses on nonfiction.
Session II: Focuses on fiction.
PERIOD 2 ROOM 14
Advanced Reading and Writing (English II)
Recommended for students currently in 7th or 8th grade (not high-school English II)
Critical reading and writing skills, to advance language building.
Practice literary analysis of various texts, then apply those skills to your own writing.
Session I: Focuses on nonfiction.
Session II: Focuses on fiction.
MATHEMATICS
PERIOD 2 ROOM 10
Math 7 Skills
Recommended for students currently in 6th grade
Algebraic properties, characteristics of geometric figures.
Session I: Integers, absolute value, expressions, algebraic equations and inequalities, rational and irrational numbers.
Session II: Angle relationships, areas and volumes, circumference and area of a circle, coordinate plane, distance formula, perimeter.
PERIOD 1 ROOM 10
Math 8 Skills
Recommended for students currently in 7th grade
Linear equations and functions, geometric transformations, Pythagorean Theorem.
Session I: Solve linear equations, systems of two linear equations, identify linear and nonlinear functions.
Session II: Verify experimentally the properties of transformations, understand congruence vs. similarity, learn and apply the Pythagorean Theorem.
PERIOD 1 ROOM 7
Math I Skills
Recommended for students currently in 7th grade taking Accelerated Math 7, or students currently in 8th grade
Function representation, sequences, some geometric principles.
Session I: Arithmetic sequences and linear functions, geometric sequences and exponential functions, absolute-value equations and functions.
Session II: Postulates vs. theorems, congruence of triangles, angles formed by parallel lines crossed by a transversal, constructions.
PERIOD 1 ROOM 12
Math II Skills
Recommended for students currently in 8th grade taking Accelerated Math 8, or students currently in 9th grade
Polynomial and other functions, geometric proofs, constructions.
Session I: Quadratic functions, complex numbers, polynomial functions, exponential functions, some applications.
Session II: Various kinds of formal proofs, advanced constructions such as incenter and circumcenter of a triangle.
PERIOD 3 ROOM 7
Precalculus Skills
Recommended for students who have completed Math II Plus Honors or Accelerated Math II/III or Math III or Algebra II
Need an algebra refresher after taking AP Statistics? Want a head start on Math Analysis or Precalculus?
Session I: Algebra and graphs of advanced functions; trigonometry ratios, inverses, identities, laws; conic sections and equations; polar coordinates, functions, and graphs.
Session II: Skills not required for AP Calculus BC but which colleges expect students to know for higher-level STEM classes, including vectors and matrices; complex number plane and De Moivre’s Theorem; proof by induction for sequences and series; formal definition of limit and delta-epsilon proofs.
PERIOD 4 ROOM 7
Math Olympiad
Recommended for students currently in 8th through 10th grades
For students interested in preparing for the USA and International Math Olympiads.
Session I: Practice solving common types of problems seen on the AMC 10 and 12 exams.
Session II: Advanced skills required for the AMC 12 exam; learn what it takes to qualify for the AIME exam.
COMPUTER SCIENCE
PERIOD 3 ROOM 10
Programming I (Scratch and Python)
Recommended for students currently in 6th through 8th grade
Introduction to creating computer algorithms and developing a coding mindset.
Session I: Basic computing literacy and functionality using MIT’s block-based Scratch computing language.
Session II: Move to text-based Python, starting with Turtle as an easy-to-use graphical environment.
PERIOD 4 ROOM 10
Programming II (Python and JavaScript)
Recommended for students currently in 6th through 8th grade with previous exposure to programming
Learn more programming skills and develop a programmer’s mindset.
Session I: Write programs using Python, with the attention to detail needed to avoid common errors.
Session II: Learn how the internet runs with HTML, CSS, and the JavaScript programming language.
PERIOD 2 ROOM 7
Computer Science Skills
Recommended for students currently in 8th or 9th grade
Explore the AP Computer Science curriculum.
Session I: Selected mathematical foundations from AP Computer Science Principles, including discrete math, data representation, and fundamentals of structured programming.
Session II: Selected programming methodologies from AP Computer Science A, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

Study Skills Mastery
Recommended for students currently in 5th through 9th grade
Learn how to work smarter, not harder, to earn better grades.
Session I: Notetaking, best studying techniques, and more.

Fun and Friendly Public Speaking and Debate
Recommended for students currently in 5th through 9th grade
Develop the highest-paid skill: public speaking.
Get coached on words, vocal variety, body language, and improvisation.
Session I: Learn various kinds of speeches including informative, persuasive, demonstration, and extemporaneous.
Session II: Practice mock interviews, speech and debate, and sales pitches (as seen on Shark Tank).
MORNING CAMP ROOM 6
Create and Explore: a 2D and 3D Art Journey
For students currently in 5th through 8th grade
In this hands-on art camp, campers will unleash their creativity through 2D and 3D art.
From painting and drawing to sculpting and mixed media, young artists will experiment with different materials and techniques to bring their ideas to life.
No experience needed—just a passion for creating!
Through engaging projects, youngsters will explore composition, color, texture, and form while building confidence in their artistic abilities. Whether they love sketching, constructing, or getting messy with paint, this class encourages self-expression and creative thinking.

For students currently in 5th through 7th grade
